Tattered flowers

Hello blogcreatures,

Sorry ! It's been a while , but I am a bit busy! I am back today with a mini project. I made some flowers the for the new challenge on T.H's blog.
The main rule is to use the Tattered Florals die from Tim Holtz.  I have no glimmer mist or stuff like that. So I make my own spray using ink and food coloring.  Love it! Hope you like my flowers. If you have any question ,please leave a comment below. Have a great day!

  5. I have lots of questions:
    1. What kind of paper did you use?
    2. Did you use the original "Tattered florals" die from Tim Holtz? (Not the mini version?)
    3. How many layers did you use in each rose?
    4. How do you shape your inner parts of your roses? Do you cut them down to roll them that hard? Are they smaller flower sizes?
I love your roses! The colour is absolutely stunning!

    1. Thanks for your questions.

      1. I used watercolor paper 210gm .
      2. I used the original die.
      3. For the big flower I used about 16 layers . Medium flower 8 layers . Small flower 7.
      4. First I dye my paper then cut the flowers and play with the edge of the petals. I use my finger tips.
The smallest flower is about : 3 cm / 1.2 inch

  11. You did such a great job with these. They are molded perfectly, but the ink and food coloring make them amazing. You have talent.
